Abstract

Soi, Maria Marlince. 2022. Thesis “A Study on The Mastery of Descriptive text of the Second Year Students of SMP ST. Yosef Maubesi in the School Year of 2021/2022”. Advisors: (1) Drs. Edmundus Bouk, M.Pd and (2) Imanuel Kamlasi S.Pd.,M.Pd. This thesis entitle “ The Study on the Mastery of Procedure Text by eigth class stuedents of SMP ST. Yoesef Maubesi in the school Year of 2021/2022”. It aims t knowing the ability students in writing procedural text. And also this study is intended to answer the following question 1). Have the eigth class students of SMP ST.Yosef Maubesi Mastered Procedure Text? 2). To what extent do the eigth class students of SMP ST. Maubesi Difficulties in Mastering Procedure Text? 3). To what level is the students Mastery on Procedure text categorised? In order the collect the data Writing Procedure Text. The method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The result of research shows that students have average mastery in writing procedural text 80,69%. They need to learn more to test procedural text everyday.
